Inspired by traditional belly binding, the Classic Restoring MumWrap is an adjustable postpartum garment designed for a secure, held feeling around the midsection.

Six rows of hook-and-eye closures provide 15 cm of adjustability. Breathable fabric and flexible boning help the garment keep its shape and sit discreetly under clothing.

Ask your midwife, GP or another qualified healthcare professional whether compression is appropriate after birth, especially after a C-section or other surgery. Use only for short periods while awake, at a comfortable setting that allows full breaths and normal movement. Remove before sleep, extended rest, showering or strenuous exercise. Do not place over an incision or irritated skin. Stop use immediately if pain, numbness, dizziness, shortness of breath or increased discomfort occurs.

Size Guide:

  • XS - XL: Post-delivery waist 80 to 97 cm
  • 2XL - 4XL: Post-delivery waist 98 to 115 cm

If you are between sizes, contact us for fit advice rather than choosing extra compression. Use your actual post-delivery measurements.

How to use

If you have recently given birth or had surgery, ask a qualified healthcare professional when compression is appropriate. Place the MumWrap around your midsection with the label inside and fasten it from top to bottom at a comfortable level. It should allow full breaths and normal movement. Start with a short wear period; remove before sleep, showering or strenuous exercise. Remove immediately if pain, numbness, dizziness, shortness of breath or increased discomfort occurs. Do not place over an incision or irritated skin.

When to wear

There is no single postpartum timetable that suits everyone. If you have recently given birth or had surgery, ask your midwife, GP or another qualified healthcare professional when compression is appropriate for you. Wear the MumWrap only while it feels comfortable and remove it before sleep.
